Registration for this event is between 6.30 and 7.15pm. The lectures are anticipated to last between 1.25 and 1.5 hours with anticipated development outcomes of A and B.
The Annual General Meeting of the West of Scotland branch will run from 6.30 until 7.15pm prior to the lectures on Dental Politics and Corporate Dentistry at 7.15pm. The AGM is open to all local branch members and we would be delighted to see as many of you as possible.
The west of Scotland branch of the BDA will provide lectures giving attendees updates on the latest developments in the implementation of OHIP, DDRB and dental pensions alongside the challenges and potential benefits of corporate dentistry.
- Attendees will be able to describe the role of the SDPC in representing dentists and the current situation relating to the implementation of OHIP
- Attendees will be able to describe the current situation regarding DDRB and dental pensions
- Attendees will be able to understand the challenges and potential benefits of working in the field of corporate dentistry
About our speakers
Jacqui Frederick is the current President of the West of Scotland branch of the BDA. She has over thirty years of experience as a general dental practitioner and is also an elected member of the GGC Local Dental Committee..
David McColl is the Chair of the Scottish Dental Practice Committee, Chair of the Area Dental Committee of Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Vice Chair of the GP sub committee of GGC Local Dental Committee. He is also the Scottish rep on the BDA Pensions Committee.
